The Horseware Ireland Rambo Hoody Vamoose Fly Rug offers your horse full protection against the smallest of flies from head to tail and is packed full of features and functions to ensure your horse is completely comfortable. With the addition of Vamoose insect repellent, this rug will keep your horse free of irritations this summer.
Made from durable, close woven 1000D polyester, the Rambo Hoody promises protection from summer skin irritations while providing 65%+ UV protection. This unique material is soft, comfortable for your horse to wear while being made to last for many seasons to come. Silky lining over the mane, shoulder and tail flap is shine enhancing and prevents any rubs.
The Rambo Hoody Fly Rug has been designed to ensure all features offer the horse full protection. An integrated neck extends to cover the poll, making this an ideal choice for horses with seasonal sensitivites. The supersized tail flap gives your horse maximum coverage while preventing rubbing. An extended belly wrap secured with three straight surcingles gives an improved fit while a deeper fit covers as much of the horse’s body as possible; leg arches provide optimum freedom of movement. The Rambo Hoody is secured with a V-front closure at the front which allows your horse to graze comfortably, removing pressure from the chest and shoulders, and a tail strap at the back to keep your rug securely in place.
The Horseware Ireland Rambo Hoody Vamoose Fly Rug has been treated with Horseware’s Vamoose insect control technology – the fabric is treated with Permethrin, a chemical extracted from the Chrysanthemum flower which is proven to be a natural insecticide, repelling mosquitos, ants, ticks, flies and midges. The treatment is long-lasting on the fabric and will not be washed out or come out when the horse sweats.
