Burleybed is a 100% Miscanthus Bedding and used by farmers as bedding for horses, cattle and poultry. Stables use Burlybed Miscanthus Bedding for their horse bedding, as a deep fill or shallow fill on rubber matting. Burlybed can also be used for hutched animals like rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodent types. Burlybed is a diverse product that is suitable for most animals and pets.

How do I use Burlybed?

Use 4 - 5 bales for traditional bed or 6 - 8 for deep litter in a standard 12 x 12 stable. Or use as a shallow cover on rubber mats 1 - 2 bales in a standard 12 x 12 stable. Due to its extreme absorbency, it may be necessary to sprinkle with a light covering of clean water. This helps prevent the bedding moving when first placed in the stable when the horse lays on it. Water should be used sparingly.

Burlybed Miscanthus Bedding is a bamboo like structure with a spongy inner core the outer casing gives structure and the inner core gives extreme absorbency.

The plant absorbs smells and liquids keeping them locked within the inner core.
