Pure Feed Re-Fuel

Re-Fuel is low in sugar and starch and therefore ideal for horses with metabolic issues such as laminitis, cushings and ulcers. It's best to feed a recovery mash immediately after intense exercise, competition, or during hot weather when horses may be at risk of dehydration and electrolyte loss. Additionally, it can be beneficial during times of illness, travel or other stressful situations.

Start by offering small amounts of the soaked recovery mash mixed with your horse's regular feed. Monitor their response and gradually increase to the recommended feeding rate. It's essential to ensure that your horse has access to fresh water at all times. While recovery mashes are commonly used after strenuous activity, they can also be beneficial as a preventative measure during periods of increased stress, such as travel, changes in routine or exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Feeding rate:

400-600g per 100kg body weight per day depending on body condition and work done.

We recommend that you dampen well with water before feeding.
