Use this leather component to replace the headpiece on any headcollar that's constructed from nylon reinforced leather, nylon or webbing to create a breakaway section. If your horse panics and pulls away hard, the leather component is more likely to break for safety than the nylon webbing. Leather is a strong material but will break under considerable force, making it a vital safety measure to create a breakaway headcollar.
