What is Chilli Crisp?

It's chilli flakes, crispy onions, and a little salt, all suspended in Sichuan pepper oil- giving it that unmistakeable flavour.

We've worked closely with local providers from Sichuan to give you the most authentic product possible. It's not just about chilli for us, it's about the journey of the whole product and doing justice to its heritage. We don't cheap out on alternative oils and ingredients- only the original is good enough.

A bold, crunchy chilli condiment made with crispy chilli flakes and aromatic spices in oil, delivering a rich umami heat with added texture. Ideal for drizzling over noodles, eggs, vegetables or adding depth to a wide range of dishes.

The smaller 180ml is a great intro-size jar of a spicier version of our Original Chilli Crisp. Housing a combination of 4 chilli varieties of different spice levels (higher levels of the spicy variety), plus other classic ingredients from the region, like fermented black bean and Szechuan peppercorns, this beautiful crunchy textured condiment lights up any meal. Its mix of chilli, slightly salty umami and a smoky background flavour has made this a hit with consumers who put it on ‘anything and everything’!

Chilli Crisp works from breakfast-time (on poached egg or avocado) right through snack (cheese toast and chilli crisp evidently!) and onto dinner (roast veg, fried rice, noodles, pizza are a few favourites).
