Beeswax comes from young worker bees. They ingest honey and convert the sugars into a liquid wax secreted through special glands on their abdomens. When the liquid wax hits the air, it hardens into tiny flakes. The bees scrape these flakes off, chew them to make them pliable, and mold them into honeycomb

• Produced by honey bees foraging in the North Devon countryside in the Taw Valley
• The surrounding landscape includes hedgerows, woodland, pasture, wildflowers, bramble, clover, hawthorn, and seasonal blossoms, giving the honey a distinctive regional character.
• Because bees forage over several kilometres, every harvest reflects the flowers available during that season.
