Keratex Hoof Putty
Keratex Hoof Putty makes a flexible wax which plugs holes in the sole of the hoof, preventing the damage that can be caused if grit, mud and stones enter the cavity or injury and cause problems. The wax also has a disinfecting action and because it forms a barrier to the outside environment, will prevent bacteria from being able to track up into the hoof where the horse's health and well-being could be compromised. Keratex Hoof Putty is good for speeding up recovery from abscesses, punctures and cavities and plugging floor-side holes under shoes.
Keratex Hoof Putty can also be used under a laminitic's Lilypads to provide further comfort and cushioning.
