Burlyburn Heat Logs are made from UK grown timber from renewable forestry. Our high quality raw material is sourced as a waste product from the timber industry and processed on site at Burlybed to create a dense, high heat, long lasting fuel source.

Our Heat Logs are ideal for wood burners, open fires, chimineas, BBQ or any solid fuel appliances. From heating your home in winter to enjoying a fire in the chiminea on a summers evening, Burlyburn Heat Logs are a fuel for all seasons.

This independent verification underpins the Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards)(England) Regulations 2020 and validates the low moisture content of our logs meaning they burn with low smoke and maximum efficiency.

In most cases the best way to use the logs is in conjunction with our Burlyburn Firelighters, made of miscanthus and recycled candle wax they are a great environmentally friendly option.

Burlyburn Heat Logs can be your way of making an environmental choice. By using a waste material rather than raw material cut to burn and by supporting a product made by a rural British company who make a conscious decision to support sustainability and the environment. Our packaging is made using recycled materials and is fully recyclable and you can even recycle the ash from your fire in your garden compost.

How to use:

Simply break one to two Burlyburn Heat Logs into smaller pucks and place a Burlyburn Firelighter among them. This will get your fire going before adding more Burlyburn logs to establish your fire. At this point use a couple of logs at a time as and when needed.

Burlyburn Heat Logs come in various sizes which are ideal for breaking up and using accordingly. They are the perfect size to be used in log burners.

Once alight due to the low moisture content the Burlyburn Heat Logs produce a high level of heat, we suggest you gradually build your fire and don’t overload until you are used to using them.
