Our sustainable firelighters are made with miscanthus, the most eco-friendly crop grown in the UK. Mixing this raw material with waste candle wax creates the ultimate high quality, eco-friendly firelighter. The wax used in our firelighter production is a waste material sourced from large scale candle production and is a mix of paraffin wax and beeswax. We take this waste, re-heat and thoroughly mix with finely chopped miscanthus to create our effective, sustainable and eco-friendly firelighters. This is waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill.

Sold in a box of 30 the lighters are extremely easy to use. Simply break a small block away from the existing strip and place in the centre of your fire. They light straight away giving a strong flame and lasting a long time to ensure your fire is well and truly alight.

Easy to use and pleasantly scented, Burlyburn Firelighters are long lasting and ideal for use in wood burners, open fires, BBQ and solid fuel appliances. Combined with Burlyburn Heat Logs they are your environmentally friendly, natural choice for fuel.
